FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT THINGS TO BRING? : FRIENDS! This is a great opportunity to bring friends and/or family that would not normally get a chance to come to a Christian Music Festival. Blankets and beach chairs to sit on outside, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Holy Bible, Camera, Spending money. There will also be limited bleacher seating available.

WHEN: Saturday, July 1, 2023
WHERE: Redwood Acres Fairgrounds is located at 3750 Harris St, Eureka, CA 95503. The venue is outdoors in a beautiful setting with (2) stages featuring guest musicians. There is an RV Park adjacent to the fairgrounds with limited spaces for RV's and hook-ups available. Camping will also be available for tents and small and small pop-ups. WHAT TIME: It is an all-day event starting at 10AM - 10PM
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND THE EVENT? While this is a FREE access event, there will be several vendors with merchandise, food, and beverages and some attractions that you will want to have money for. You will be able to listen to a non-stop venue of excellent music and enjoy the day without paying an entrance fee. Bring your friends! They will not have to pay to enter the event either!
WHAT IS THE EARLIEST TIME I CAN ARRIVE FOR THE EVENT? : 9:00AM please respect this and allow vendors and artists to prepare ahead of you. The event program will start at 10:00AM.
PARKING? : Yes! There will be easy access onsite parking for our guests. Disabled courtesy parking and assistance available.
HOW CAN MY BAND PLAY AT JESUS ROCKS THE REDWOODS? : Please contact us by visiting our MUSIC page and complete the band information request form. We will contact you shortly.
HOW CAN I HELP VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT? : Please go to our CONTACT US page, complete the request form and leave us a short message from you or your church organization.
WHAT IS SEATING LIKE? : Festival seating on grass and paved areas. If you like your own chair, please bring a folding or bag chair and blankets so you and your family will be comfortable for the day. There will also be limited bleacher seating available as well.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE? : Yes! There will be several food and beverage vendors. Also other organizations and specific missions will be selling food. The proceeds from the sales of these booths will benefit the specific group and not the event.
ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL? : Please leave your pets at home if possible! There will not be provisions at the event for your pets and it would be cruel to leave them in your vehicle. All animals must be licensed and on a leash! If your pet comes with you, you will be expected to keep it quiet and remove anything it leaves behind. No one has come to this event to hear your dog bark! You will be responsible if the animal causes harm, injury, or is a nuisance. Jesus Rocks The Redwoods and the facility will not be responsible for your animal. Registered Seeing Eye dogs and these dogs in training are allowed. You will be asked to remove any animals that cause excessive noise, are scary, not licensed, or cause alarm in any way. Dogs must be on a leash at all times! No exceptions! The comfort and safety of the event attendees will be our priority.
WILL THERE BE SKATEBOARDING ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL? : We now have skateboarding! We will have a mobile 1/2 pipe and some rails and 2, 1/4 pipes to skate on! Skateboarding is Sponsored by The Church on the Rock and Mckinleyville Skatepark Organization. So bring your youth and their friends!
IS THIS AN EVENT YOUNG CHILDREN OR TEENAGERS WILL ENJOY? : This is a family friendly event! There will be lots of fun for younger children! There will be Bible stories, singing, crafts, and fun attractions for you and your young children! Please bring some money as some of these attractions will be very inviting for the young and there will be a fee for some of them. There will be some free booths for the young children. Please do not leave your teenagers at home! This will be an exciting day for them! Young children must be supervised by a parent or other adult at all times.
ARE THEIR HOTELS OR CAMPGROUNDS NEAR BY FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS? : Yes! We have some limited camping for tents at the event! Redwood Acres Fairgrounds is located at 3750 Harris Street, Eureka, CA. Please call early for reservations: 707-247-3380. There are also hotels located close by in Eureka. Note: RV Parking adjacent to the fairgrounds is available for a daily fee. Please contact them directly for reservations at 707-499-6187. We suggest contacting them early due to availability.
